Purpose:
The Application Specialist at Novari Health is tasked with ensuring the optimal utilization and performance of our healthcare software applications. This professional works directly with healthcare providers and internal teams to implement, tailor, and maintain software solutions to meet the dynamic needs of the healthcare industry, thereby enhancing patient care through innovative technology.
Duties:
Implementation and Configuration
- Help lead the implementation process for new clients or upgrades for existing clients, including system configuration, customization, and testing.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to understand their workflows and requirements, ensuring the application is configured to meet their needs.
Training and Documentation
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for end-users, focusing on application features, best practices, and workflow optimization.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including user guides, FAQ sections, and support manuals to assist end-users in troubleshooting and understanding application functionalities.
Metadata Configuration
- Configure and manage application metadata to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and effective data utilization within the application ecosystem.
- Work closely with technical teams to understand and implement metadata standards that support application functionality and user needs.
Current/Future State Analysis
- Conduct detailed analysis of current application usage, workflows, and performance to identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop strategic plans for future state configurations and enhancements, aimed at optimizing operational efficiency and user satisfaction.
Workflow Configuration
- Customize and configure application workflows to align with healthcare provider processes and best practices.
- Analyze and redesign workflows for improved efficiency, leveraging application capabilities to support optimal healthcare delivery.
Product Expertise
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Novari Health's products, becoming a go-to expert for internal teams and clients.
- Provide insights and recommendations for product development based on industry trends, user feedback, and technological advancements.
Organizational Responsibilities:
- Compliance with all applicable privacy legislation
- Compliance with all employment legislation
- Compliance with all Novari Health policies & work procedures
- Ownership of a valid passport
- Participation in an inclusive and supportive team environment
Education and Experience:
- Completion of a college or university program in computer science, business administration, or healthcare
- Work Experience in healthcare field with direct interaction with clinical systems.
Working Conditions:
- Employee may sit for prolonged periods of time
- Prolonged periods of time viewing computer monitor and keyboarding
- Tight deadlines, with multiple and rapidly changing priorities
- Interacting with internal and external stakeholders
- Open office floor plan means noise and a regular flow of people around the office.
- Employee may be required to travel (overnight) as required.
Hours of Work:
- Workweeks are five days, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, starting at 0800, 0830 or 0900, as agreed upon between the employee and their manager.
- Minimum hours of work each week is 40, unless otherwise agreed to between the employee and their manager.
- Employee may be required to work additional hours, including weekends
